GoPro Hero 2 120fps Slow Motion FPV Airplane

The GoPro Hero 2 is equipped with an incredible 120fps mode called WVGA-120. At 120 frames per second, you can slow down even the fastest action to a crawl for some pretty intense slow motion scenes.
Since I use the GoPro2 strictly for aerial video and FPV flying, I did some testing with the Hero2 on my Skywalker FPV airplane. The GoPro doesnt handle darkness too well, so I only shot about 10 minutes worth of footage as the sun set.
As expected, 120 fps slows down really well when changed to 24 fps in Premiere Pro; you really have to be creative with your edits or even the fastest action sequences will get drawn out. My only complaint is the resolution. At 848x480, it becomes cumbersome to incorporate this footage into 1080p or 720p footage. The GoPro 2 offers other slow motion options at higher resolutions, but none feature 120fps like WVGA-120.

Night time video is going to be the same as the GoPro HD, you cant use it for anything except for pretty-looking specs of light while in the air...it just doesnt have the gain to amplify the minimal lighting at night.

Nice! Your FPV plane looks very stable. Are you using any gyros/autopilots?

@erkq the plane does have an RVOSD5 autopilot, but stabilization wasnt on during this flight; the wind was calm and it made for very smooth flying.
