The Silent Couple

This is a short film starring Marton Csokas and Imogen Annesley which I shot and directed at film school in Sydney.
"The Silent Couple" is based on an old world tale and screened in Romania, Poland and Australia.
Some of my stylistic inspirations are the 1968 fairytale film: "Kingdom in the Clouds" from Romania and "The Lovers" painting by Magritte.

That was an intersting little discovery for me :) I don't understand the point of the movie but after 6 minutes or so I randomly started laughing and I don't know why. That was a unique film. Did they die at the end? The lady that played the bride reminds me of an actress that played in The Howling 3 The Marsupials. Marton is so handsome :)
