  • Anusara! I spelled it wrong in the last post.

  • heheh...However you spell it, if it means that we're taking a moment to make our practice about something bigger, and practicing from a healing, heartfelt place...then I'm all for it!

    OM NAMAH SHIVAYA, baby!:)

  • well before i go to gym is the breakfast or sometimes some more bred with marmaelade or cheese or nothing. Sometimes a banana or jogurt.

  • No reason to be ashamed - it's totally understandable.

Your body must be STARVING after 3-4 hours of no food and a gym session - that's what we need to solve.

What DO you eat before the gym then?

  • OH .... =P yea, good point!

Maybe have a bannana 1hr before? something to calm your bodies reaction?

  • yes once 20 years ago i was a ballett-teacher and i trained 3-4 hours daily hard balletttraining by this times i could eat what i want i did not become heavy.....

the sugar and peperoni chips and chocolate and cakes it is really asahming what i eat and how much

  • ya you are right, but i have to stop eat 3-4 hours before i go to gym cause otherwise my stomac will put the foot out again when i do forward bends or abdominal workout.....

  • the best advice I can give is to realise that our bodies are essentially the same as those of hunter-gatherers. Simple sugars are not what your body is designed to eat regularly, you crave them because they would have been a great calorific bonus in a survival situation but by no means common. Similarly saturated fats and salt.

What you need to do is make your energy levels more consistent

Try more complex carbs in your breakfast and less caffeine!

Make sure you fuel up 1hr+ before your workouts

  • to be honest it sounds like you are already most of the way there.

You have found a physical activity you love (yoga) which is usually the hardest step.

Second, it sounds like your metabolism is going from boom to bust. All the sugars and stimulants in the morning will have you buzzing till lunch but I guess after that you experience a crash in energy and your body craves high calorie food as if it was in desperate times.

  • yes i do start my deay with bred and marmalade and fruit and coffee.

The main problem is in the evening when i sit at the computer after sport then i am hungry and i do not want to waist time in cooking so i by chips and chocolate and wingumes and all this bad things...i know it is very bad for my health and body but i have no control on it
