Are Mormons Christians?

Did Joseph Smith say all Christian churches are wrong and Mormons should join none of them?

@MegaOlive93 - if Mormon's we're Christians then they would not accept the lies that mormonism embrace and advance. Christians acknowledge Jesus and the Father are ONE. Mormonism proclaims that there are MANY gods... the Father being one, Jesus being another, the Holy Spirit being yet another...and YOU TOO eventually can become a god. Mormonism in POLYTHEISM!! Sandra Tanner reads it then repeatedly misquotes it! It states that their CREEDS are an abomination, not their churches. Big difference. A creed would include all the decisions and formulations of the post-New Testament church councils (Nicaea, Constantinople, Ephesus). These creeds are what really set apart what has become "orthodox" today from what ancient Christianity really was all about.

Joseph Smith just wants to change the bible and it's doctrine. He served the devil and that's all. The bible says that one must test the spirits that we see to know if they are from God or not.

I believe Joseph smith saw the one god and the one true way. He saw two individuals dwell in the glory of one truth. Joseph Smith witnessed the father and his beloved son and they were both the truth. They were (as) one god.

As for an bitter, anti-Mormon apostate like Sandra Tanner - pfffft! What credibility does a bitter ol' battle axe like her lend to whether Mormons are Christians or not?

Use your brain people! If the name of your church is The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints do ya think they believe in Jesus Christ or not?

Are Christians Mormon? Anyone? WHY then would you say Mormons are Christian? Anyone use logic and reason anymore? Or are we to put our tail between our legs and act like everything is all ok in Mormonism.
