  • Yes, i'm aware of that, but i was testing several different converting programs before i bought one and did this video because the guy who wrote the song(Michael bradley is his name) never saw the video. i did eventually buy a converter program, just havent gotten around to reconverting this. i mostly just use it to convert things for my zune player.

  • @Lumadil Michael Bradley did not write this song, it was produced about 3 years before Macek started Robotech and was used for the show with the band's permission. Michael Bradley is actually the voice behind Lancer/Yellow Dancer, and performed MOST of those songs.

  • @northerncrisp I know Bradley was yellow dancer, but from all information i've found, it was Bradley and Wittmack who composed "In My heart". and was done in 1986. i'm only stating the info i've found. if you can correct me, i won't complain

  • @ThatGuyFromYouTueb Macross II is sequal to macross. The shadow Chronicles is robotech squeal

  • @Lumadil The only reason they wouldn't have accepted it, is Macross didn't have enough episodes for syndication unless it went one episode a week. So he searched out any other anime that could be combined to create an epic. He initially chose Southern Cross and Mospeada due to the similarity of mecha, and similar storylines. Orguss was his first choice for segment 3, but after reviewing Mospeada, found it to be easier to integrate.

  • @ThatGuyFromYouTueb the guy was Carl Macek, and he is credited with beginning the anime revolution in the US. while the US had speed racer and whatnot, they only had a small following. Robotech whether people like it or not, helped create the anime fan base that exists today. It would of eventually happened without his help, but it would of probably happened much later than it did. He had very little choice to do this since he wanted to do Macross dub, but the networks wouldn't of accepted it.

  • In Japan, Macross, Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospiada were three, completely unrelated cartoons (all from the same creator, I THINK).

Then, some American got his grubby little hands on the three of them and linked them all together it what is known as ROBOTECH.

ROBOTECH has a sequel called Macross II (and no doubt many others of which I am not aware) and Macross has a most amazing sequel called Macross Plus (and perhaps a few others besides.)

Happy viewing! ^_^ (Or reading) :-)

  • I just looked it up ^_^ I got flashbacks of my childhood, just the kind of songs they used back in the days for cartoon ^_^ Thanks for the info on this =D
