This Video was taken at the closing Ceremony of
"The Making Harmony Tour" in Louisville Kentucky
US that brought together, among others, the Shani
Jewish Arab Girls Choir from Jeezrael Valley, Israel
and a Boys Youth Orchestra from Nablus in Palestine.
The two groups spent a whole week together, visiting Places and Peoples in Louisville and getting better acquainted with each other.
The final Climax took place in "The Temple" on a
Friday Evening, celebrating the coming of the Sabath,
with a thousand people present, Jews, Christians & Muslims seated celebrating together in one big crowd.
The Two Visiting Groups performed seperately -
and finally, the Shani Girls Choir presented a
special arrangement of John Lenon's "Imagine"
(by Pnina Inbar) Joining hands towards the end,
when the Boys from Nablus surprised them,
entering their Semi-circle from behind to join hands together. Lenon's famous lines "No Borders, No Religions . . . No one to Live and Die for"
received a new and special meaning for these
Boys and Girls - and for the huge raving enthusiastic crowd, standing up, applauding ...and weeping, together.
A Service of Peace !
