i miss the shawarma shops in ottawa so much...wish i knew how to make the garlic sauce some of them make

@NewSprayer Try this,
garlic cloves 4 large
lemon juice 2/3 cup
salt 1 tsp.
21/2 to 3 cups olive oil
Blend first three very well. Add slowly (while blending) the oil until smooth. Not too thick, not too thin.
I go a bit more on the garlic myself. But not too much or you may need more lemon juice.
