the dress looks ugly and cheap. marc jacobs used to be innovative, not anymore - and the concept for this advertisement seems like something a college art student made up... it's too bad the only slightly affordable clothing he makes has his name plastered all over them... designers with such raw talent should be using it to figure out how to dress the masses properly, because everyone looks like shit in their tshirt and jeans, nothing is new anymore and we are not moving forward as a result

People don't seem to understand the humor of Marc Jacobs. They're not selling a dress, they're selling a brand, and without a sense of humor, you probably won't understand the brand. And I don't get what's so shocking about the price tag, this is a hand made dress, constructed in America. If you want something cheap, go to H&M.
