@lukebccb the answer to that unfortunately is no,these films weren't chosen to be preserved for another 50 years after this.Studios didn't have any copies so they had to do a country wide search for it and found the film in a dusty theater's backroom,so this's the best quality there is of it.for these same reasons there are many lost chaplin films along with many other artist's films famous or not.At this point if someone else did have this film without knowing it,it'd be in much worse shape

I have The Rounders on DVD but it's a terrible quality and I've yet to find an even decent (meaning not washed out) version of it.
Anyone know if there's a release of The Rounders where the video is at least close to "clean"?
