@onecheman I'm sure the tail gunner's competence should be in question if the bomber gets shot down, not the bomber itself...

@onecheman well yea but in the game AND in real life the i-16 is a very nimble plane ( if flown right ) so you just gotta be erratic and move all over the place till u get close enough and press the trigger... i know its easier said than done... but just think what we did, we sometimes used our p40's and p-51's to get like 20 feet from a bomber and pull the trigger

@onecheman thats typically how you'd take down a bomber: diving on it, guns blazing, climbing up to its height, guns blazing, or flying behind it, guns blazing.

@stevebailey69 Yes.. if you're thin like a pin the rudder will cover you, but as this is impossible...
You will never in the 6 o'clock exactly for more than some seconds... and a gunner in Il2 will get you ever if you're in the angle, be the rudder and tail between the shoot or not...
Top gunner and belly gunner have the same angle: I mean, if the top gunner get you shooting low, the belly gunner can get you shooting high (all 2 "aiming" to tail)
