  • Dis a one a make yu jump and shout.

  • @RISINGSTARSTV

    Jamaican heritage I think

  • If they are gonna do one on them, they might as well do Five Star, Star Point, Supercat, Hot Chocolate, Super Lover Cee and some others. They also need to re-run some of these since I cannot seem to catch some episodes including this one!

  • @CrowdPleeza Yes it was rekeased as a 7" single. Look it up on Discogs.com.

I never knew there was a video or live footage of Generals BTW.

  • Does anyone know if the song Political/Generals was ever released?

  • Did MCA have many Reggae artist signed back then? If not then I'am thinking that it would have been better for them artisticlly had they been able to sign with a label that already had experience with Reggae artist.

I also wonder if at some point they would've had to consider a name change or alter their name had they lasted as a group into their 20's? Musical Youth sounds good for kids under 18 but when you're in your 20's I don't know how that name would work for older 20-somethings.

  • Very informative... Never knew they weren't Jamaican.

  • I'm watching this episode right now (I set the DVR to record it). Very interesting. Next week, George Clinton, then the Fat Boys and then Angela Winbush. I'm so digging this season of Unsung. Anybody watching the K-Ci and Jojo show when it airs on TVOne on the 19th?

  • Whatever happened to that group?

  • i SOOOO can not wait for this Unsung! They were just TOO adorable when they were small :-) I am in love with their accent....love Michael Grant! I wish he and his brother Kelvin could bury the hatchet already :-(
