Angry Heart:

I still remember how it used to be
I thought the only thing
That mattered was me

You always told me it was just insane
To feel such joy
While others feel pain

There's no way to change this angry heart
Cause when love goes
It will tear you apart

And it's been this way since time began
It's a desperate search for a promised land
And the years slip by like so much sand

So many people who are dying to live
It tortures my heart
They've got so much to give

I never saw it as a battle before
To win the fight
There has to be more

And there's no way to change this angry heart
Cause all these fears
Will tear you apart

And it's been this way since time began
It's an endless journey, it's the fate of man
To live each day and never understand

And it's been this way since time began
It's a desperate search for a master plan
And the years slip by like water through your hands

In Memory:

No one told me the way I should feel
You left an aching heart
Lost and lonely, the feeling goes on
You were the one friend I had
You gave me so much love
Now the tears remind me you're gone

It still haunts me there's a silence
Where you used to be
It still haunts me
Just an empty space in history
It still haunts me
But life must go on, on and on

It's still haunting me
It's still haunting me
Haunting me
Haunting me

  • One of the true gems in the Sabbath catalogue; Hughes is the f*cking man on vocals. I'd put this up there with Die Young, Neon Knights, Heaven and Hell, Eternal Idol and Glory Ride as some of my favourite post-Ozzy Sabbath tunes ever :)

  • KILLER RIFF!

  • @NELSONSCUM87 THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER... Mr. Hughes delivers real rock with huge class. Power & emotion like no other.

  • @jlr41877 Sabbath had a lot of singers over it's long history. Pretty much all of them were good/great.

  • Alot of people only like the sabbath they grew up with or are used to.I was one of them. in 1980.I didnt like dio with sabbath. mostly because i was pissed they fired him and I loved the sabbath that I knew and grew up with. but after awhile i could not deny how could it was.Now the dio ear is my favorite. The sabbath that came after dio is great to but different.I like it but i can understand why hard core ozzy fans dont. its so different from the sabbath they know

  • My favourite BlackSabbath Album? YES.....OR ALL OF THEM!

  • 1.33 what a fantastic, epic, riff, I've been very like because I've talk about this song with Mr Geoff Nichols.

He told me that he wrote it in memory of his mather.....and you can feel it

  • IOMMI IS SABBATH.... FUCK OZZY.....

  • i got this record when it was released and have always thought it was very good.

  • I will love black sabbath forever<!
