Trekking out to see the Pinnacles in Gunung Mulu National Park in Borneo.

i'm having a massive "i miss borneo" moment! was there for 6 weeks in june/july 08, working in sarawak general hospital and then doing a bit of sight-seeing. loved the pinnacles and the caves, the wildlife - got to see orangutans and probosus monkeys wild, and of course the world rainforest music festival! can't wait to go back. enjoy it people, you never know when these things are going to change for good.

nice reportage. pity you didn't show at all camp5 which in year 1993 was the real challenge of the pinnacles :-)

great place, spent about 8 months back in 2005 live in Mulu national park! I want to go back there in the future!

I hv just returned from mulu, pinnacles and headhunter's trail. Fantastic xperience. didn't exceed the time recommended for the trails. However, could only do the mini pinnacles... guess that's better than nothing. River xperience was fantastic too. Thanks to Ezra, our wonderful guide, the boatman Robert and wife and Anderson.

Awesome, I am envious of you being in Borneo. Wish we were there. Coming down is the hardest part.

Wow! things have probably changed in Kutching a lot since 1994, but I am sure that Gunung Mulu is pretty close to being the same. We enjoyed it very much. Thanks for watching!
