  • Interesting, you don't find me entertaining, no problem for me. You are in a large majority. I have just checked Stephen Crowder and he's very good, and as you say, quite popular. I don't quite see the connection, because I suggest something you don't agree with, you use the fact that someone else has more views/followers than me as an argument. I don't do you tube videos to be popular, it's just a forum for me to experiment with ideas, if people watch, all the better, if they don't, fine.

  • Oh good!

Often times, liberals get all offended easily, feel all lonely, self-pitying, and angry at the world. I wanted to see if you'd delete my comment, ignore my comment, or go about your business without giving a shit: you didn't give a shit, and let me know it.

Congratulations! You have my respect! But you don't give a shit about my respect, and thats a good thing!

  • The term 'liberal' has a totally different meaning on this side of the pond. To me, it's a joke, we have a 'Liberal party' who are vaguely centre left, we have Conservatives, sort of equivalent to the Republics, and the Labour party, which used to be left but are now to the right of the Conservatives. I don't support any party but I am probably a loony left winger, who is humane and open to new ideas. I am not self pitying or lonely or angry, and I never delete comments unless spam

  • How about business owners? Also limit their profits to a 150K?

  • Although I generally agree with the concept I feel an arbitrary maximum wage is fraught with difficulties. What happens with the extra money? I'm quite sure it wont trickle down but high earners will end up with share options that counter their wage cuts. Be too restrictive and some of the top talent (top surgeons for example) will move abroad. Maybe the bar needs to be raised a little bit? 250k? Hell, I'd be happy with 25K but as a student I wouldn't want the top profs to move abroad!

  • Ahh Robert, I had exactly the same idea of a maximum wage! I think it's literally repugnant that footballers for example can earn in a week up to 5 times what an average person earns in a year for playing football. It's disgusting when there's so much poverty in the world and even in this country. £150,000 is more than enough for anybody to buy whatever they could reasonably want

  • I've heard about this concept before, stating that the financial residue will be distributed around the other employees. In that way eventually the whole company could or will be earning the same amount of money.

  • I love wet liberals, dude! That football thing makes so much sense to me! Like The Kansas City Chiefs here, they suck as a football team. They are getting payed too much for an NFL team in Missouri.

You guys in Red Dwarf are so cool. Supportive. And your the only celebrity who talks to me in Twitter.

You rule, Bobby Kryten! :D This is coming from me! A disabled post-traumatic stress disorder cynic-of-me from Missouri! Keep up the awesome work!

    Shitter Twitter, ha ha!

  • The argument is not that there's too much competition nationwide but _worldwide_. So if you want to introduce a maximum wage, you'll have to do it worldwide, too. Otherwise, the country introducing the MaxWage will become the world's shithouse for top executives (at least that's what the argument says; I'm just playing the devil's advocate here ;).

  • I completely agree about the footballer thing. My mum manages to be a nurse AND a single parent of 3, and yet she gets paid absolutely fuck all compared to a load of twats kicking a ball around.

  • It's not possable to talk about RD too much, next time you feel the urge to splurge about RD, please do ;-) Congrats on the new MicroSeris...

  • No offense to your lovely and talented partner but - I LOVE YOU!!!!!

  • "I don't support any party but I am probably a loony left winger, who is humane and open to new ideas."...Aint it sad that the opposition considers THAT 'loony'?...

Guess I'm one as well, and I'm proud to say so (plus, apparentley, I'm in great company...;)
