Musician, filmmaker, and human rights worker Michael Franti first tried yoga as a way to cope with the stresses of touring internationally with his band, Spearhead. What he found was something much more. Join Michael and Jivamukti Yoga creators David Life and Sharon Gannon for a fast set of salutations. From the DVD, "Power to the Peaceful Yoga."

  • Jivamukti yoga is more enjoyable when you join in and practice this. This video gives you a bit of the flavour.

  • Good lord, of course it looks like hatha vinyasa and ashtanga. ALL yoga schools use the same poses and/or Sun Salutations. The differences are in the philosophies.

  • David and Sharron are celebrity contortionists. Their spiritual capacity is as devoid as the New World Order and to believe otherwise would be as much a contortion as one of their absurd poster shots. The only memorable scene from this place is the center's grossly overweight manager Carlos, looking absurd in designer Jivamukti brand tights, attempting some of the yoga postures while spouting the virtues of Castaneda's "Way of the Warrior".

  • i can't help, but i'am wondering when they 're gonna use those instruments.... it's distracting me from the Yoga :S

  • looks like Hatha yoga too

  • well done video:)

  • This looks like Ashtanga Yoga

  • yoga is really good for anyone who is looking to strengthen their core and their balance...... its good for a martial artist
