Ferryside

A village on the River Towy that has a small but busy station and signal box. This is part of the result of a visit to meet and talk trains with Rob Masterman. We did!!! Hope you enjoy the video. By the way, the ferry has long gone!

Good job Bob on the video. But I must say that you should get a shot of the boy in the parking lot that likes to play guns. I was able to spend some time at this wonderful place and one of my favored moments on my trip was play fighting with a boy in the parking lot with a toy gun I got from the shop. Good times Bob, we all need them.

I Love Ferryside!! i used to live there and i still go every once in a while to visit my dad and my grandparents... Nice video, Glad it was uploaded :)

Lovely - and so unchanged - we used to have a small dinghy based here in the early 1970's - and apart from the sailing it was a great place to watch the up Whitland milk and other trains go by.

NIce touch getting the block bells (2 - entering section) on the video !
