better. But of course, like Aristotle, you do no science, you

merely know everything from surmise, like the Sun going

know that the size of the human population now means

that we each have only a couple football-field sized acres

of arable land per person, and that we each also have only

a few acres underlying the air to the top of the armosphere,

which for 99% of the atmosphere is only about ten miles thick?

And so you think dumping CO2 by the kilo into this just

won't make any difference?

Michael Crichton needs to get educated in physics before

he tries to judge this stuff. Michael, you've got ice and water

in a glass. Does the water heat up first, or does the ice melt

first? This goes to show that a medical degree is NOT a science

degree. I used to tutor pre-med students in physics. They just

don't seem to get it very well. And he's not even doing science,

he's a writer/film producer. His grasp regarding theory of science

is totally lacking.
