"ladys at home, dont throw away your aborted fetuses!!!just give them to christopher reeve, he´ll suck em dry!"
-
@wezite1983 you are an asshole
-
There's been so much advancement in medicine from his death till now, if he was able to move his wrist, fingers and feet, imagine what he'd be able to do today.
-
@wezite1983 if you dont have a pesonal stake in what your fighting for then you are just a follower.
-
yes wezite.so what??

I think reeve was only interested in curing himself with stem cells. He had the attitude of : IF MY COUNTRY WON'T DO IT THEN I WILL GO SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY WILL. He didn't care about the other people who suffered with spinal injuries. If he did why didn't he campaign for it before his injurie?
-
Superman Reeve didn't give a shit about stem cell research before his accident.
-
My inspiration to be an actor comes from Christopher Reeve, a fantastic and incredible human being, even in the way he talks and his outlook is something we would expect from a Superman.

A stray cat pooped on my balcony.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I did read that book. I think it's one of those stories that's both tragic and hopeful. Tragic in that for a versatile and athletic man to have this accident in his early forties must have been horrible, but then hopeful because he was able to transcend the limitations of his body and do a lot for the rest of humanity. Still, it makes me sad.
-
I have read all his books and loved them all, I hope you read 'Still me' that is the best. Especially the story with Robin Williams in it.
-
yeah ashame i bet if he were alive today he would walk
I just bought one of his books (Nothing Is Impossible) and read it in 1.5 hours - very quick read. He was TRULY an amazing man. What he was able to accomplish in terms of advocacy was awesome. Not to mention him moving his wrist, feet, fingers was nothing short of miraculous. They did studies on how he was able to do this. He was a very determined man. I think you're right. He would have been able to do more had he lived. He would have also been happy w/ the Chris Reeve Paralysis Act passing.
