"I find the experience of being mashed up, randomly and out-of-the-blue, to be very energizing. Not as an ego stroke, mind you. That is, I don't believe that my piece of that puzzle is anything especially "artistic" or "original" -- I just like SOUND, and I post videos of effects pedals and noise because I like to watch videos of effects pedals and noise - do unto others. Rather, what I find exciting is that someone was able to find a new use and/or context for the video I posted. That it provided raw material. That it helped somebody create something entirely new. That the end result is greater than the sum of its parts. That they made some art, dammit!"
