  • Could I use this to join pentagons? I know there will be a gap between them, but will this make the gap a bit smaller?

  • @coyoteoctober I do not see why not?!

  • Thank you so much for this interesting method to join grannies! I'd like to know how to call it in German - but for using the method "names" are completeley unimportant ;o)

  • @MariyaSalam braid in German is Borte.

  • Thanks--I totally understand--if you are busy- don't bother.

I love all the ones you do! Thanks so much for doing them-I appreciate it so

    much.

  • @Knuttyknitster I've made a new one, but something is going wrong with my software. I filmed it in wide screen HD, but it goes into my editing program in standard width and it fore-shortens everything! I need to iron out this glitch. It may mean re-filming it again.

  • That was very helpful! Thanks ever so much for uploading this tutorial! This method looks very attractive. I'll probably be coming back here, once i start joining my stacks of squares.

  • Thank you sooooooo much for this video!!!! I have been working on squares and motifs and when i joined them they had a seam...hated them. Been trying to find a way to make my seams flat!!! thank you so much!

  • You're an amazing teacher. For you to spend your time to show us how to do this is just phenomenal. Thanks so much for doing this, you made it look so easy!!

  • I thought it was a Siamese cat I heard in the background :)

But I understand it's your son, LOL!

  • WOW! I think this will be my favorite way to join. And I love the contrast. Shows it can go either way if you're running low on yarn, just join with a complimentary yarn. Thank you so much for your videos, you are a natural teacher. : )

  • Thank you for the video. Now I know the correct way to crochet in a yarn tail. I was doing it by crocheting over it and not crocheting the tail into the stitch itself. You make crocheting the flat braid seem easy.

  • Beautiful! Thanks.

  • I wanted to say thank you so much for making this video, I have tried many times to work this type of joining and never really got it until I seen it in your video. It definately is a great help for a person who learns things visually...Again thank you so very much...

  • I am new to crochet. Your tutorial is so easy to follow.

    Thank you so much

  • A really beautiful joining method.

    Thank you.
