  • @vtpaladin I like the compactness and folding capability as well as being in a caliber and magazine that fits a pistol I own. Those things, and the price, were my main drivers in purchasing this. I do hope this works out because I really do like the rifle and it's a blast to shoot. Not as much fun as my Hawkins, but still a nice experience. I'll let you know what I find out, and I might even do a video specifically on what I find out. This video after all is just me having fun with a pumpkin.

  • @therealvirginiawind Well hopefully they will get back to you in a reasonable amount of time, but let me know what you find out if you don't mind. I've been thinking about getting one for a couple of months, its either that or save up a little longer for an AR. I like the 2Ks compact size and I already have a pistol in 9mm so a common caliber is nice.

  • @vtpaladin I sent Kel-Tec a note this morning, but they've not responded. Something that did come to mind was the possibility the rubber bolt tube cover could be interfering just a bit with the bolt handle. I was also using Glock 31 round magazines and the springs in those are really strong. Maybe the strength of the spring was pushing my rounds up with so much force it didn't give the empty time to eject. I have some 17 round magazines I'll take out next time.

  • @vtpaladin Have you contacted Kel-tec, I've been told their tech support is fairly friendly. A guy I talked with said that he got a PF11 that didn't make it through the first box of ammo before it have a major failure. He contacted Kel-tec and got a replacement pistol with very little fuss.

  • @vtpaladin I was shooting brass. It appeared the bolt might not have been going back long enough for the empty to fully eject.

  • @therealvirginiawind nutnfancy did a review of the sub 2000 and mentioned that the rifle does not work well with aluminum shell casing, does the 115's you are using have aluminum or brass?

  • @vtpaladin It's a recent purchase for me and I've yet to find anything other than 115 grain bullets. Those are not adequate to operate the rifle. I've shot 300-500 rounds through it and it jams a lot. I had read it didn't like the 115, but can definitely confirm it. Assuming a heavier load will fix things, I'd say I like it. It's more accurate than I am.

  • Nice, I've been wanting to get my hands on a Sub 2K and try it out. What are your thoughts on the gun?

  • @Buckrun11 A mess, yes. But so much fun. I just wish I had more of them.

  • @Woodsygirl62 Overkill? You don't think I over did it do you?
