By coincidental scheduling, we were in Los Angeles from our home in New York City for Dr. Bond Johnson's annual piano recital, this year not at Pepperdine but in a performance room at a big piano store in Santa Monica. So Miles got to participate for the fifth straight year. And since his New York teacher, Joe Kerr, is a friend and colleague of Bond's, it all fit together beautifully.
