This particular Atkinson is in the workshop at the moment getting the rust cut out of the cab, and a new paint job so hopefully will have some new footage of the old girl soon, it's recently clocked up 3.2 million km on second engine and 3rd gearbox

Love this clip man, My old man drove a 2670 with a 300 hp Cummins and a 15 sp RR and to this day that old bitch is still my favourite truck. There was a Foden with a 350 Cat that couldn't keep up with it with 25 tonne of super on their backs.

Yeah this day I was grossing about 33tons with a tipper full of dirt and garden mulch. The hill I went up doesn't look steep but believe me it's a fare pull, most trucks have to go back at least 2 full gears so this thing still kicks arse. the guy who owns this truck, well his dad has a 2670 with a 350 in it, painted same colours.

Aren't the 4870 Atkinsons similar to the T-lines?

exact same cab as the T-lines with a bunk. The big difference is in the interior. They were one of the flashest trucks of there time, still preaty cool today.
