you're an absolute moron. they're in a rebuilding stage. you say 17 wins a season as if that's going to remain constant. think about it. they just got an upgrade in their pg, and the starting center, pf, and sg, and sf are now a year older. they have plenty of money for the 2010 offseason. one superstar acquisition and this team will be in the playoffs for multiple years starting with the 2010-2011 season. you make very moronic comments.

even so yeah the hornets are a playoff team, true. but even so, what makes the kings better than oklahoma city who have people with more upside higher talent, or the clippers who hit the jackpot in griffin. The wizards are getting back arenas, too. so basically youre relying on the idea that the kings will get a superstar to get them to the playoffs. even if a superstar came to Sacramento (lol) they wouldnt neccesarily get into the playoffs.

my point is their players are gonna need to get ALOT better for them to be considered a decent team, like ALOT better. Chandler is nothing without chris paul. In a way chris paul saved his career. I would take hawes over chandler any day. hawes is younger and still learning the game.
