Downforce 0/0 , damage OFF.Max speed 341 km/h.I tried not to scratch the car , but next time i will try more , as i always want my records to be with clean lap ... ;) For the moment under 2:10 is impossible ... but we'll see ...

nfspu has a strange glitch where if you set the final drive to max, you get a faster car. it is strange, but it allows for the fastest times

gears are -50, -40, 30, -20, -10, -25, -30 reverse, -50 final, 40/0 or 50/0 df, 42/45 tires

the record is 1:57.90 fw/1:57.31 bw by wazza

i have done 2:09.71/2:09.93 with a stock gt1 damage on and 45/45 tire pressure, 2:03.96/2:03.87 6-speed damage on with 45/45 tires, 2:01.96/2:01.87 damage on all gears maxed, and 2:00.50/2:00.81 5-speed 80/0df damage on

@BodhiSvaha Hi! So why all the guys telling here what was fast and what not so fast and the same guys never put a simple video like mine made with simple Fraps (or what they have) and then converted to smaller, sharper video quality? I tried that gears - pretty much the same stuff ... So make one video, not some worthless replay, with a time 2:05 - 2:06 or if you can as you say 2:00 and post it here as replay to mine ... I hope that thing is real and someone brake the myth :)

@sta6o86 no problem. i'll post all of them for you. 10 replays coming up. give me a few days though ;). or i can just give you the replays, plus all the record times i am aware of (that i have). i also have the domain nfsrecords, which will be up and running soon, and all the replays for the records in various categories of nfs1-5 will be there.

@BodhiSvaha That would be nice :) Thanks! It could be just 1 video on your choice, no need of 10 replays ... But please, if you can make times near 2:00 so easy, don't post here replay with no data, make simple video like this one here with the mic next to the speakers for best sound too ;) I'm sure it will be easy thing with fast car and you can make it with 1-2 tries after worming up. The replays show no info, just the time in the end ...

I've stopped playing this for long time, but before 2-3 months i make some new tries and the record dropped to 2:08 - 2:09 ... I have video like this one on it, but not uploaded it yet. Maybe some other time ... So I only needed a little (big) rest to made the things better :) But the limit must be somewhere there - 2:07 for example I think, but who knows :) It can drop to 2:06 if the computer is playing :D

@MultiBrados This is the standard NFS 5 Porsche. The digital speedometer can be made from the option and many other visual things too :)

and this is the last time there were online records and stats, Wazza having 136 of 140 possible points (10 points per track, and 14 tracks, counting fw only)

go to wayback dot archive dot org and search for (triple w) dot deadlineracers dot de and click 2003, then march 25, then click rekorde from the need for speed 5 menu on the left

Try to use manual shift. Auto shift changes too early... Try the setup that Bodhi gave to you. It is good! :)
