My in-laws live in CT and I think it's funny as hell (now that I have heard from them and all is well). Nobody heeds warning, everyone has to go go go all the time. Here in Vermont when we are under a warning such as this one with 3 days notice we frikin prepare and stock up, then stay home! Some idiots never learn. The only vehicles that should have been on the roads were the plow trucks.

here comes the inevitable canadian comment: we get a few days like this every winter. i don't see why this is newsworthy. i'm pretty sure north dakota and montana also get days like this every winter too.
