Personally, i don't give a crap about what people are saying, "Oh, we must support this so they can bring back the original". If they cannot give me the original, and keep placing this PIECE OF CRAP on the table for me and expect me to buy it because they slap the string "Suikoden" on it, then my only response is F-u.. I rather let the series die than seeing these idiots making up random games and calling it Suikoden just to sell.

So, this game will be in the next world... Why, Konami? There are so much countries (Kanakan, Harmonia and all of Western Continent), so much True Runes, and so much riddles (Viki, Jeane, Sindar civilization) left, and you are just going to discard it because you just want to make it as another Final Fantasy? Everybody love Suikoden because it is NOT FF, when will you understand?

I really want to know who is Jeane... and where Vicky came from... the other true runes that not yet revealed... and maybe the meeting all the 27 true rune user... ohhh... my dream ruined... i thought this is suikoden 6.. why konami?

@MrlmmondoProfondo Not for me, either. But my point is they need to sell and impress so as to keep the Suikoden franchise going to western gamers. And as .hack and Tales of are finding that hard, too, the exception of JRPG being FF series, I assume graphics are what please the customer. And we depend on these costumers if we want to see Konami investing on VI.

well tierkreis WAS made by the guys who made suikoden, and it still has 108 Stars of Destiny, the only real difference between them is that runes are absent for a more traditional RPG system.

if they call it a Suikoden, it's a Suikoden.

not any less than the main series.

im really gettiing tired of people saying something is not a "true" something, if you hate it just say so, don't try to give me the "not a true Scotsman" excuse.

Also, i don't think that a new Suikoden needs amazing graphics. Suikoden 2, for example, now in this 3-D era, is still great.

Maybe FF needs tricks like that, not Suikoden.

But only a great plot, like the first two games, and a great soundtrack. Nothing more, for me.

This might not be Suikoden, but Suikoden's true series is not ruined, yet. I'd rather they experiment as much as they like on these alternate spinoffs and amass good sales, money and prestige before calling back the team and giving the Suikoden Main Series another go. VI needs to be a graphical, well-plotted, unique and familiar masterpiece. More so than any of it's predecessors, as to restore the series to what it was and launch it to what it should've always been, sales-wise. Let them rebuild.
