Definitely more brightness to me coming from the chrome/metal covered pickups. The 2008 330 sounds fuller and more mellow.

I really like the concept of this video, but in reality, every guitar and pickup has its own unique character... so it's hard to say that a 67 P90 or a 64 P90 sound different on every guitar. I guess that's why we as guitarists love playing every vintage instrument we come in contact with - I would certainly not limit myself!

I actually like the sound of the '08 330, very beautiful, warm tone. The Casino also sounds great. The '67 model seemed a bit bright.

'64 sounds the best (Casino that is). The aged wood is definitely where it's at.

this video is like: Hey guys check out my guitars, you will never touch them or have one of this. ;)
-
excellent video btw

Why does the first '08 ES-330 sound different from the last guitar, which is another '08 ES-330? Are they the same guitar? I can hear that the old guitars have a better overall balance between neck/bridge positions. Thanks

how can you compare a Casino with Bigsby to a Gibson without one when it's obvious the Bigsbyd guitar will have more sustain...
-
67 had it for warmth and sustain, but the Casinos are a hell of a guitar for the money. All the Epi hollow body's are.

67 wins in that test but I'd still go for the casino.
tell you the truth not much of a differ

the 67 definitely sounds the best. the 64 sounds too thin with the bigsby.
