@mandi18181818 I have budgies and I can put all three of them individually in my mouth completely and they don't care. I can also run around the room with them and pick them up with my mouth and they don't care.

oh one thing i forgot is i can literally do ANYTHING with her and she will NOT get upset or bossy about it.....i could flip her in circles, lay her on her back, flop her around, grab her beak....things i have NEVER seen with a bird with her, i just dont want her to be unhealthy so is it ok?

ok? i want to know because she has always treated me as a "mate" when i look back....she definately chose me i had no choice in letting this rambuncious bird into my life but could not be happier. same with my cockatiel [male] birds "choose me" literally. [i suppose due to my fearless nature with them] I am not sure, i just want molly [the goffin cockatoo] to remain healthy after the things i have read....she is my first "child" so please let me know. thank you.

husband are at school and work. I am home full time.....she learns tricks and responds to verbal commands and petting but does not care for treats etc...i just want to know if this is alright for her as long as it meets my expectations and things...i have been reading so much about this behavior being bad because of bites and control but she knows my boundaries and has always respected me as i do her, she knows up, down, no, good girl, never goes on my shoulder etc.....so is it essentially.cont

very long time but now have a husband and a son. We all love her and do not expect her to "bond" with them as she was just with me for quite some time. I do pet her under her wings because she developed that habbit from my grandmother and step grandfather long before i had her....she also used to "pick" herself when they had her, but since she has lived with me quit completely. Other than not liking other people she is wonderful, she plays, is happy, explores the house when my son and [cont]

I really need some advice or questions answered. I have an absolutely wonderful bird [goffin cockatoo named molly]. She is 15 years young and I have had her for nearly 10 and I am 24. My grandparents handfed her and she chose me to bod with when I took care of them and cleaned their home and bird area. I now know that she chose me to be her "mate" so to speak. She has bitten me only once or twice in nearly 10 years...is it ok for her to view me like this? I was alone with her for a [cont]

Thank you so much.
She is a beautiful spirit. She loves people. Sadly, fort 23 years she was labeled "sweet." Chloe knew only 2 behaviors. The problem with labeling is that once we hang the label on them we can't see past it.
She learned 6 behaviors in a week and a half after I received my training. She learned "are you shy" in one session.
She does what I ask if I know how to ask it. Dr. Friedman's "Living and Learning with Animals" gave me the tools I needed, it changed both of our lives.
