There were no roads in those days So all railroad logging Co. had to transport crews (often 100 people) to there camps out in the forests Originally built by a co. Called Hayes Manufacturing in Vancouver BC with the running gear supplied by a co, called Gibson manufacturing in Seattle Wasshington
