  • Built originally in the late 40rts as transportation for logging crews Some had 2 trailers. There were no roads in those days So all railroad logging Co. had to transport crews (often 100 people) to there camps out in the forests Originally built by a co. Called Hayes Manufacturing in Vancouver BC with the running gear supplied by a co, called Gibson manufacturing in Seattle Wasshington

  • WOW! At first when I saw the thumbnail of this video, I thought it was something from the UK till I started watching it and noticed the info had "Vancouver Island" in it! Very interesting catch!

  • That's the strangest train I've ever seen. What was it built out of originally?

  • That's sweet!

  • Nice vintage looking equipment, would rather see these rolling down the rails instead of today's boring looking MOW equipment they use.

  • That' thing is cool it looks like a truck pulling a camper on rails.

  • That 'thing' is cool!

  • why are they shut down?????????????????

  • no they couldn't repaint the speeders tooo!

  • Glad to see you made it on youtube! Now you got to get some of the 302 on!
