So does freedom of speech of professors IN THE CLASSROOMS extend to false statements like Maurice Eisenstein's: “..If they never existed, it really would not make a whole lot of difference. You may miss the oil, but the oil is not, has nothing to do with Muslims, it’s under the ground. Outside of that, except for raping four year olds, they’re not any good. They haven’t done anything. And, even in your wildest dreams, name one thing, that’s come out of any Muslim country...”

The scary thing about these incidents taken together --- and the current one at University of Wisconsin--Stout ---- is the ignorance on the part of university administrators of the limits of their authority and the extent of their students' and faculty's liberties established by the Bill of Rights.
That such levels of ignorance of basic American Constitutional history are apparently widespread among public university administrators [and some faculties] I find appalling.
