  • @snaps81625 Depending on how you source it, it can be! I use only organic, free ranged pork.

  • So any pig fat.. doesn't fat hold the hormones and crap they feed them??

  • Wow! Look at you! This is an amazing channel! Also truly fun!! Let's stay in touch. Visit me sometimes!

  • Dear Mr.Brown, you make me rethink my love affair with butter. Kind Regards, Kim.

  • Frijoles Refritos with lard...mmmmmmmmm

  • pig fat in baked goods? AHHHHHHHhh

  • Alton didn't look like he thought it was the best thing in the world xD His facial expression seemed to tell otherwise!

  • @gmt903 Looking back, he never really got fat, but at the time, there were a few seasons where he was gaining a little bit, and there was a general worry that it would continue until he was unhealthy,

  • @kiminokami Thanks! That makes sense.... I didn't realize he made a conscious effort to lose weight. I don't think he looked bad before, but if he didn't feel healthy then he didn't feel healthy. I'll have to look for that episode.

  • @gmt903 GMT, don't worry about what Void said. It's not true and he is just making an anti-American statement. The real reason is that he put himself on a diet instead of eating everything he made and making everything he likes. He cut out a lot of food from his normal diet and put in exercise that he wasn't doing before. He made a Good Eats episode about that.
