@wesleyguigui c'était le premier film animé de toute la soirée et Lotte Reiniger a travaillé trois ans pour le finir. elle devait faire cca 250 photographies par jour. toute ce que tu vois est coupé du papier photographique peint a noir (exactement c'est violet trés trés sombre) et je doute qu'il y soit maintenant tels gens qui pourraient faire quelquechose comme ca. il n'est pas nul ce film, c'est un vrai chef-d'oeuvre. et excuse-moi pour ma francaise, je n'en suis pas trés forte.

@ElanorPam Her name is Pari Banu, and she's the goddess of the Isle of Wak Wak, a land of demons and monsters. Ached happened upon the bathing spot of Pari Banu and her servants after a flying horse kidnapped him from his own kingdom. He wishes to marry Pari Banu, so stricken with love and lust by her nude form. In a later fragment he saves her from the evil African Magician who stole her and sold her to be the wife of the Emperor of China, who in turn gives her to his stooge. I own it ;)

This legend exists in many different countries. There's a greek version, a japanese version, chinese, etc. Sometimes he's an abusive dick, sometimes he's a nice guy; after living with him for 20 years or so, she either kills him and takes the boa to fly back home, or steals it when he's not looking to do the same. Whether he was a good husband or not, she was forced into the relationship and wanted out of it.

@TheOlypianGods The three maidens fly down on their featherboas to play in a lake while the guy peeps. He steals the featherboa from the prettiest one, and when they go fetch the 'boas, he shows up and scares the other two away. The third one can't go home, since he stole her featherboa, and he wants her to marry him (or sex him). She faints and he takes her anyway. Sicko.

@TheOlypianGods Lottie Reiniger was one of the first persons to explore the world of animated cinema. Besides, she invented a unique tecnique (jeh) using human siluetas made of cartulina. A real artist and a revolucioner.
