  • Thank you! All this time I had wondered what i.p. was - now I can understand what Lionel Tribbey means in The West Wing (Season 2 Episode 5 "And Surely it is to Their Credit") when he tells Ainsley Hayes to "stop speaking in iambic pentameter".
