In theaters September 16, 2011.

Ryan Gosling stars as a Los Angeles wheelman for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway vehicles for armed heists by night. Though a loner by nature, Driver can't help falling in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan), a vulnerable young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband Standard (Oscar Isaac).

After a heist intended to pay off Standard's protection money spins unpredictably out of control, Driver finds himself driving defense for the girl he loves, tailgated by a syndicate of deadly serious criminals (Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman). But when he realizes that the gangsters are after more than the bag of cash in his trunk—that they're coming straight for Irene and her son—Driver is forced to shift gears and go on offense.

  • @PLucasFranklin Go watch Breaking Bad.

  • LOve how Bryan Cranston is "cool" in the industry now, even though he had been on one of the greatest tv series evr made (malcolm in the Middle) and was essentially ignored. Not trying to be a hipster or anything, but kind of annoying that people ignore Malcolm in the middle when it is one of the greatest tv series evr made. Yes, even better than The Simpsons or King of the Hill or Breaking BAd. And i love those shows. JUst people seem to forget how GREAT Malcolm was.

  • @myfacesp wooooah yea malcolm was a great show but nowhere near as great as the simpsons or breaking bad. king of the hill sure.

  • Whats with his eyes at 1:22?? Anyway, love him.

  • @ mrbrockpeters yeah I guess your right sorry

  • @myfacesp Who cares! You say you're not trying to be a hipster but you pretty much do the hipster elitist thing when you rag on people for because they like something you like. Who cares, as long as all kinds of people are appreciating Bryan Cranston's immense acting talent I say it's all good. Can't you just be happy for Bryan's recent success and leave at that? I also thought Malcolm in the Middle was fantastic and Bryan and Jane were both outstanding in that show!

  • @MrMushroom123 bryan cranston is best!!!! ##1

  • BRYAN FTW!!!!

  • bryan cranston is the fucking daddy!

  • @doctordopplepopolous well, idk hard to say. yeah, breaking bad is amazing. but so is malcolm.

  • @myfacesp Objectively, Breaking Bad is lightyears better than Malcolm in the Middle, which is also one of my top 3 favorite shows ever. It's hilarious and severely underrated, but in terms of objective quality, Breaking Bad may be the single best TV show (or at least TV drama) ever created.
