I notice odd things. Example,look at how this man holds his pencil as he writes. Watch a group of high school/college kids doing their homework. They hold their pencils in a totally different way! The handwriting is similar. Listen to womens voices as TV/radio news anchors, commercials, voice overs etc. Many voices sound "croaky" or "hoarse" as if coming from a sore throat. They also try not to move their teeth while talking. The men's voices don't sound like this. It is just strange.
@chimico21 well,, i used to write the cursive way, but when i moved to the us-where everyone writes in blockletters- i got a mix of both,, and now its the ugliest handwriting ever.. im also trying to go back to where i was xD
In my elementary school (in italy) the teachers thought that teaching to write in cursive was old-fashioned, so I just learned how to write by copying the others. Now I write very badly and I'm trying to learn the correct way!!
In the UK when we were 5 we learnt a very similar style in my school. Capital G was completely different, and capitals I and J had their curves in slightly different places. When I changed schools at age 7 I was more or less the only person who could write joined up. At age 8 and 9 they taught us the Nelson handwriting which I didn't like but I had to learn it, so my writing merged the two together.
A lot of it is lost in speed.

@daryush55
Here at uni, most of my friends can only write in print. I guess teaching joined up writing or cursive only happens in a few schools here.
Now I am re-learning this style of cursive (or, the version I was taught when I was little). The small "r" always gets me!
(Long, probably not very interesting, story!)
