  • Hey there,

    You can repeat it 3-5 times, but more than that and you'll tear down the muscles too much. Keep it within a larger yoga practice and it will serve you better.

    Not to get all sentimental on you, but I really appreciate all the effort you put into into these videos and the way you're willing to answer questions and give tips and everything. And all for free, too! (By the way, has your second DVD come out yet? I've been wanting to buy it.)

    Anyway, if I did yoga focusing on my legs one day, it'd be best to do something for my arms or abs the next day, right?

    Second DVD is almost out--couple of weeks now. I will let you know when with a new post soon. And a good holistic yoga practice that works the whole body is best, but if you do that plus concentrate on arms/abs one day, then lower body the next, fine. The more of the body you use at one, the more calories you'll lose at once!

    My lower region of my body is what i want to focus onthe most right now.. and I want to lose a couple of jean sizes. If i continue doing this work out.. would i be able to lose enough from a size 8- size 4?

  • Hey, Sadie. I want to express my gratitude. You are a wonderful inspiration for me. I am doing a teacher training myself in Kripalu, which encourages pauses for integration, and very slow conscious movements. I like pausing between postures; it keeps me focused. Yet, I don't seem to be in shape like I am from a flow type practice. With a flow, I have a restless mind, though. I've heard that Yoga without awareness is just stretching. Are we getting the full benefits of Yoga when doing a flow?
