its better to agitate the mint when its in the glass, because you're rubbing all the oils onto your fingers.

I also stir, muddling is too strong and the drink tastes like mint, not bourbon. I mix the sugar with the bourbon, add ice, and fill with sparkling water. Oh, and I use Woodford Reserve bourbon, the one issued every year for the Derby, same bourbon but cool bottle.

Horrible. No silver julep cup. You add the bourbon before adding the ice?????? Stirring and not muddling???? You suck big time.
