2nd part, 2 more(:
"Your a digrace." he shouted. The anger in his eyes trippled, reminding her of a raging bull ready to charge. "You are nothing but a ugly little bitch."
"Don't you dare-" her mother began but his grip on her tightened. He turned taking a hold of her neck in a way that seemed animal-like. He snarled at the woman who was now paralyzed with fear. Her azure orbs were just about popping out of her head and her face was turning almost transparent.
"No!" Selena called out jumping up and trying to pull him away from her. But he just turned his eyes on her with unbelievable anger pushing her to the ground to watch him take away the only person in the world who cared for her anymore. Her mother's motionless body fell with a crash to the floor beside her. But he acted as if he did absolutely nothing wrong.
"You are nothing but trash." he told her. Selena said nothing, just stared at the floor as it blurred away before her.
"Do you hear me?"
She gulped again before whispering her fearful reply. "Yes sir."
"What was that?" he questioned moving around her mother's corpse to stand just above her. "I didn't quite hear that."
Her voice trembled as she replied. "Yes sir. Loud and clear."
He nodded looking back and forth from his wife to his daughter. "Now get out of my face."
Selena struggled to stand up but after a minute she finally got herself up. She took one last look at her mother before exiting the room slowly. She was now offically alone.
---
"You are worth nothing." she mumbled miserably to herself as she readied herself for another day of school. She wore her favorite pair of darkwash skinny jeans, black converse, a white Maroon 5 band tee and a black cardigan to cover her father's newest marks. She grabbed her purse along with her schoolbooks and headed into the livingroom where her father sat with a beer in hand.
"Where are you going?" he questioned obviously not caring much. The only reason he even asked was to be sure she'd return so he could continue to make her existance a living hell.
"School." she said shifting her books to the same hand as her purse so she could open the door. "I'll be home in time to make dinner."
He grunted. She assumed it was a man's way of telling her to get lost. She shut the door behind her and began making her way down the street towards the highschool she'd been attending now for 3 years. Only one more year and she was out of there. That was only the thought that kept her going. In another year she'd be off at college, away from her evil father and his seemingly endless pain. That is, if she even got into college.
Ever since her mother's passing she'd been obsessed with her grades. She wasn't athletic so her only real shot at getting into college was an academic scholarship. So she'd work like crazy on homework and projects. She didn't mind that it kept her from having friends. Her future was more important. Her whole life depended on this.
