Thank You,Steve,Tony,Mike,Phil and Peter for recording Suppers Ready,it is the most beautiful piece of music ever created and 40 years later it is still touching me so deeply it brings tears to my eyes.

I'm just sooo glad that these full albums are on here. Vintage Genesis is where I go when I am having a seriously depressing day. Afterglow, Snowbound, Undertow, and then to whole albums. This one is my favorite, I think. It took me till later in life to understand Gabriel's lyrics. It's now that I need them.  Thanks for having this up.

Hey, guys. If you guys love Gabriel-era Genesis, please check out the new band Sound of Contact. Their lead singer/drummer is the son of Phil Collins, Simon. He and his co-founder Dave Kerzner were heavily influenced by Peter Gabriel and early Genesis, and it's very apparent on their debut album. The album has received rave reviews so far from prog rock enthusiasts, and the combined influence of Gabriel-era Genesis and Pink Floyd is very apparent.

TMB did this tour to perfection , rumor has it they are going to do a combo selling england foxtrot show , I would love to see a nursery chryme tour that would be awesome

1972 in high school, big fan of Genesis, listened to this album over and over w/ volume cranked and headphones on, in a way it could explain why I am the way I am today.

Yes I agree, old Genesis is the best Genesis, but when there were three I was still a loyal fan to the end......

Great memories! I wrote a dissertation for Political Science class on "Get em out by Friday" in 1974. I got an provisional "A" based on my final paper which I based on a fictitious religious cult/ rock band "God Pimp" loosely patterned after the "Peoples Temple" of Sun Myung Moon (Moonies) which got another provisional "A" but the prof said I couldn't take Poly Sci again. I went on to study Classical Guitar inspired by Steve Hacket. I have a Melotron.
