Ground Impressions at Campinas

A Video i shot with my iphone (sorry its not HD guys..).
Due to (very) bad weather at our final destination Sao Paulo Guarulhos, we had to divert to Campinas, around 90km north of Sao Paulo.
Flight time : 11:10
Fuel onboard at takeoff : 84 tons approx
Flight time to Sao Paulo from Campinas : 30 minutes
We stayed onground for 4h and 50 minutes WITH passengers onboard :)

@dnhug continental and united airlines where diverted to Brasilia ( BSB/SBBR) and the flights of TAM with a330, 777 and a340-500 and air france too where diverted to rio de janeiro ( GIG/SBGL).

this day was incredible. i live arround 100km from GRU and from VCP too

i saw at radar when the visibility at gru became minor than 150m, and the airport was closed. Avianca from bogota, Swiss from zurich, british from london, lufthansa 744 from Frankfurt and A343 from munich, and alitalia 777 landed at VCP. in this day the flights of american,

This is a major concern for the Brazilian World Cup Soccer 2014.

The expansion and infrastructure in the Brazilian airports are delayed and if they are not built in time will be chaos during the competition.
