i love both of them! although mattie didnt make 2008, she has the youth and high potential to make it in 2012. i think mattie just peaked at the wrong time and needs some more international experience. sam it just a doll! she's always smiling...i love it! they will both make 2012 for sure!

The reason Mattie didnt make the team was because Mattie announced on the day they were selecting the Olympic team that she thought she had a stress fracture. Which later when she got back to LA her doctor said she did.

thank goodness. i was unhappy that mattie didnt make alternate for the games. it would be nice to have them on the same team!!

yeah i needed a song that was quite graceful. but matties gonna try for 2012 so it would be real cool to have mattie and sam on the team together:)
