The last time Ronnie James Dio ever performed in front of an audience was on August 29, 2009 in Atlantic City, NJ. I was allowed total access to the band, the building, and the fans to cover the event for black-sabbath.com. Ronnie James Dio passed away on May 16, 2010 and I'm posting this short after-concert interview with him as a tribute. He asked us to turn off our camera light so the image is a little dark, but it is what it is. This is the last time he ever spoke after a concert performance. Enjoy.

  • well. it look's like we ha a little children(under 50) that don't have a freekink clue aboue ronnie dio

  • @guyclark1958 Just one child, guy, but he's been spanked and put to bed in his wet little diaper. Shame, cause I've met folks in their teens and 20's who love and respect all the music that Dio shared during his career and hopefully it will be the new generations that keep an idiot coward like oreeyemma/richauri/Defender666100 in his crib where he belongs.

  • miss his music but I could care less that he's gone.like he'd even give a flying fuck if you croaked.this dude stopped being good in the 80's anyways.....adios

  • @Richauri Clearly this guy is one idiot putting up multiple "accounts" to try to curry favor. What a COWARD! Just ignore this piece of shit, everyone. LONG LIVE RJD's MUSIC!

  • This makes me sad. That stupid cancer took this great man from the earth. Hearing him talk about his plans that never came to fruition, wow.

    RIP forever Ronnie!

  • @damodci Thank you for posting this interview! How lucky you are to have been given the opportunity to interview the "King of Metal" after his last performance! Ronnie was a gentleman, a man of true integrity! He loved his fans just as much if not more than we his fans love him! I've had the pleasure of seeing DIO live several time throughout my life... Always a great show! I am forever greatful that he left us with all this great music! It will keep Ronnie alive forever \m/ \m/

  • @Oreeyemma - Wow, another idiot on the internet. Gosh. Gee. Surprised. Not.

  • @Oreeyemma Oh, you're NOT paying attention? So your obsessive, multiple replies, reeking of loneliness, rejection, and despair are just auto-generated, then. Why not try NOT paying attention to untalented ghosts like Neil Young, and learn a guitar chord or two yourself? Maybe then you'll have someone else to play with, little boy. Cheers!

  • @Oreeyemma Why would I block you? Your desperate stupidity shows everyone that your opinion is worthless. Allow comments on YOUR page then, hypocrite. Afraid of all the laughing at your shit Neil Young covers? You have about 15 page views, congrats on your obscurity, Jimmy Hoffa!

  • @lemkewisconsin dio aint sayin shit to anyone :)
