When you travel outside of your own country, especially to developing countries, an awesome weight of responsibility rests on your shoulders whether you know it or not. A responsibility to represent your own culture positively and to respect the cultures, people and nature that host you. Travel itself can place strains on culture and ecology as people react to the influx of tourists and money, we witnessed that first hand. Be conscious of your interactions and where you spend your $; respect.
