The famous Delta Queen steamboat still pulling back from a launch ramp on Wheeling Island in Wheeling, West Virginia, on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008. The DQ had been in town this weekend for Wheeling's annual Sternwheeler Festival. This was shot from the Suspension Bridge, also very historically significant; it was windy, so you'll hear some wind noise in the video. At :34, the DQ sounds its horn and puts the wheel in reverse to back away from the shore.
It's a whistle, not a horn.Trucks have horns, boats and ships have whistles. Always good to see any video of the Delta Queen, though.
