  • You just got through showing a video not to long about about taking lots of water on your hikes maybe even more than you need sometimes lol. Then you make a video about you getting heat exhaustion. You don't use your own advice?

  • GodsPlan559 - I guess your talking about finding water in the wilderness video.

  • dude iv watched all of your videos. u are always prepared for the worst to happen, so how did u end up with no water to drink???????????

  • babymac9 - regardless of what you plan for, sometimes things happen.

We learn more from our failures and mistakes then the things we do right.

And are you a member of the forum?

  • In oregon here, one must be concerned and aware that most small creeks and streams around here, have beavers in them. They pee n poop in the water... hence the sickness we call Beaver Fever here in Oregon. We dont drink the water if you think there is any type of beaver damn anywhere up stream from you. Most of the time you no idea if you have a beaver damn upstream of you, unless you know the area.

    Take care :)

  • StarrJaded - very good information and thank you for sharing.

  • you need to stay out of the forest, your an idiot.

  • well what was it 95 or 110 or couldn't you tell.

  • You can't be seriously hiking and be outdoors if you always wear jeans. This channels garbage.

  • watch out for sharks! :P

  • Have dealt with heat exhaustion and its not fun. Did about a five mile hike through hilly terrain and didn't realize I was in trouble until the stomach cramps. We were not near any water at the time so the guys I was with set up shelter to get the sun off of me. We were in wooded terrain with lots of leaves on the ground. We removed a patch of leaves to get down to bare soil and it was a lot cooler. Took off my shirt and laid down on the cool soil while drinking water until I vomitted. Fun times

  • I know you need to cool off in the pond. But, remember there are hazards in the pond. Brain eating amoebas live in warm still water. If you get contaminated amoeba water up your nose, then the amoeba can work its way up the nasal nerve pathway to the brain and totally destroy ones health and frequently brings death in three days. Do a google search on this, and you will see what I am talking about.

  • Heat exhaustionis not fun. I have had it a couple of times. One thing I found that is helpful to me is to carry some Gatorade mix in the little packs to mix in your water bottle. if you start to feel heat exhaustion comming on mix some up and start sipping on it slowly. It's a good idea to get out of the sun for a while to until you are feeling better.

  • nellynell77 and roflpwnedvideos, are both correct. your body does burn calories to heat up cold water, or to cool down warm water. However, a better way to regulate your core temp is not to make your body work harder by burning those caloires. You want to get to the shade, and if possible put a cool shirt, or bandana or the like under the armpits, behind the knees, and on the back of the neck. Also, remember, the body is the best healing agent of all, given time, and liquids it is amazing.

  • colloidal silver generator will solve that watch bob beck protocol #3 he says you can drink sewer water if needbe, he's the doctor I'm not

  • same here. i cant wait for winter.
