Travis Tuesday!

I recorded a bunch of new Roy Blunt Jr-isms to take us through the rest of the run of "Action Newsroom"

Guest Hello: Christopher Titus

The Musecast New Oxford Balderdash Project!!
Leave your fake definitions in the comments! The best ones will be used in the project!
My examples:
"noun, the part inside of a combustion engine that automatically cuts the speed at which old people drive in half."
"noun, the non-sticky part on fly paper after a dead fly is removed, taking the sticky substance off with it."

And, of course, a new episode of 2 Hot Guys in the Shower. Want to see the unedited version? clicky-click here:

  • good one!

  • Isn't there actually such a device? I'm pretty sure there'd have to be... :-)

  • you, sir, have pwned me. I hadn't even caught that in the phrasing, good work. I've never been so impressed by semantics.

  • Shovel 'noun' a device used by air traffic controllers to communicate with approaching planes.

  • It really comes down to the wording. Whiteoutdeath's wording would make it a noun, whereas lifedoesntimitate000's wording makes his definition correctly that of an adjective.

If whiteoutdeath's definition had begun with, "The way one feels when one walks into a store...", then it would be the definition of an adjective.

A feeling is a noun, i.e. excitement. The way one feels is an adjective, i.e. excited.

  • I disagree... feelings are usually adjectives... sleepy, excited, crazy... :-)

    ~Trav <--english nerd.

  • Noun. The pleasant feeling experienced when shoving an object into one's own ear canal, such as a Q-tip.

  • I don't mean to step on anyone's toes here... but I believe that would actually be a noun. ;)
