I stepped into Starbucks, my hand clasped over Harry's as we strode towards the till. I ordered a caramel hot chocolate while Harry ordered a mango and passion fruit juice blend. We got out drinks, thanked the cashier and sat down in one of the vintage looking booths Starbucks always had. I slid in and took a sip on my drink, the liquid burnt my lips but I didn't really mind the sensation. I was on such a high, I think 'love drunk' was the correct term but it was so cheesy.
"So, I've been thinking a lot about the um, big W"
Harry & I decided to refer to the wedding as the 'big W' so people wouldn't really suspect anything as we hadn't really released the news of our engagement out to the media yet.
"Yeah?" my stomach did flips, we hadn't really discussed any plans for the wedding
"I'd really love to have a summer wedding, somewhere tropical" he smiled contently
I nodded a long and gulped some of my drink as he carried on
"I dont want a massive guest list, maybe sixty or so people, close family and friends of course and no media coverage what so ever, i'd like it to be a very personal affair I mean, you only get married once right?" he looked up at me
"Elizabeth Taylor didn't, she married what? Eight times"
"Yes but were different Miranda, I actually love you so much and the thought of me leaving you doesn't even come into my mind"
I giggled stupidly "I love you too Harry, and I agree with everything you've said about the big W especially about the no media coverage thing and I've got the perfect place for the big W"
"Go on"
"Jamaica"
His face crinkled and a smile creased onto his lips, his eyes phased out for a while remembering back to our very first kiss, in that tiny little island that started out being just a week long get-away but ended up being so much more. It was where we started, as a couple. He looked back at me nodding, his arm reached out over the table and interconnected with mine.
After finishing our drinks and exchanging some more light conversations about the wedding we decided to step out of the coffee shop and as per usual - our faces were bombarded with flashes of the paparazzi, Harry kept a tight hold on me as we maneuvered through the mob of people donned with camera's and sat down in his car.
"I have a surprise for you" he stated as he started the ignition
"Oh jesus, what is it?" My eyes grew wide
"Wait and see" he smirked
We took a different route this time, instead of turning left to go to the boys' apartments we went right. The London cityscape slowly changed into green rolling fields surrounded by oak tree's. I looked around quizzically, where the hell was he taking me? We kept going for about ten minutes and then we stopped next to a quaint little tea shop.
He reached into his dashboard's drawer and pulled out a blindfold which he tied around my eyes. I heard him get out and then open the door next to mine. He gently pulled me out before locking the car and then placing one of his hands on the small of my back and the other one on my right hand. We walked slowly, in god knows what direction before stopping.
"One, Two" he paused
"Come on Harry! I'm flipping out right now" I chuckled
"Three" he exclaimed as he untied the blindfold
I gasped at the sight that stood before me.
