trapping takes alot more time and energy and is alot harder than hunting. you actually have to get the animal to step on the trap and catch em good enough to hold. then u have to walk alot more and do it everyday twice a day carying bait traps stakes tools and other supplies. i hunt alot and ive kiled tons of animals. killes a 17pt 191 gross score this yr.

im new to traping muskrat; and is gunna trap them in winter; i know 1 way were u open there dens and set a pan trap; but how would i use a conibear in catching a muskrat

@paintballpro749 Set a 110 conibear in a underwater run/trail or at the den entrance. Colony traps work great in den entrances.
