Memorizing is Bullshit...
I'd recommend to take notes on what the teacher says, and whenever you get home read over your notes at least twice.
I did that last year and ended up getting a 89% in Chemistry :)

i never have notes either, all the way until year 9, I could ace tests with out revising at all.
but now gcse has started, and i need to revise now, and it is harder than i thought, it sucks revising, i used to like just knowing everything.
yeh, and with the braces thing, I had the exact same thing, my braces came off, 'finally, im done' then 3 years of retainer, and i was like fuck that, and now i regret it.
